Brick Oven Lamb Stew – The Bread Stone Ovens Firm

This recipe for Brick Oven Lamb Stew is scrumptious and simple to make in your wood-fired oven, good for any dinner!


  • Lamb Stew Meat
  • Onions
  • Potatoes
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Thyme
  • Garlic
  • Carrots
  • Beef Broth
  • Butter
  • Flour


  1. Oil a forged iron pan.
  2. Add lamb stew meat to the skillet.
  3. Add the onions, carrots, garlic, salt, pepper and thyme to the skillet. Combine all of it collectively.
  4. Add the skillet to a scorching oven to sauté the meat and greens collectively. 
  5. Take away from the oven as soon as the meat is browned and the onions are caramelized, and blend. 
  6. Add the potatoes and blend once more.
  7. Add salt, pepper and beef broth.
  8. Cowl the skillet in foil and place it again within the oven.
  9. Cook dinner for about an hour at 350 levels, or till the potatoes are comfortable. 
  10. Take away from the oven and serve.
