Named after the pioneering mom of up to date dance, Isadora Duncan, ‘Isadora’ is a whisky maker’s version with solely 900 individually numbered bottles.
“We aimed to create a sublime and timeless sherry-led whisky with a contemporary twist, free from conventional constraints,” stated Sarah Burgess, The Lakes Distillery whisky maker.
To mark its launch, The Lakes is holding a charitable prize draw to win bottle primary, with 100% of each donation going to help the OurWhisky Basis. Tickets price £10 and can be found here.
Becky Paskin, founding father of the OurWhisky Basis, stated: “Sarah will not be solely a grasp in her craft but in addition a mentor for and an ardent supporter of the OurWhisky Basis. We’re thrilled that she and The Lakes are contributing to our fundraising efforts with the inaugural bottle of Isadora.”
As one of many remaining releases in ‘The Whiskymaker’s Editions’ collection, Isadora is offered solely at The Lakes Distillery’s on-site boutique. Created by Burgess, Isadora is bottled at 53% abv with an rrp of £150.
