Bruichladdich Distillery Firm has launched Port Charlotte 18 12 months Previous.
This stays true to the historically closely peated Port Charlotte profile, the distillery says.
The spirit matured in a mixture of refill sherry casks (74%) and refill French oak wine casks (26%).
Altogether this provides dried fruit and sweetness to the only malt, in line with distillery notes, complementing Port Charlotte’s barbeque peat smoke.
Port Charlotte 18 12 months Previous is now accessible for buy on-line at ReserveBar.com and at choose whisky retailers beginning at $199.99 for a 750-ml. bottle.
