The SMWS will donate 5% of the earnings from the overall gross sales to the OurWhisky Basis, a non-profit organisation that seeks to help and empower girls within the international whisky trade.
The all-women tasting panel was hosted on the society’s headquarters at The Vaults in Leith, Edinburgh, to mark Worldwide Ladies’s Day 2023. Every member of the panel was advisable by an current member and handed the mandatory sensory analysis check.
Of the 5 whiskies, “A Toffee-Coated Hay Bale” and “Hebridean Hamper” are worldwide releases whereas “Liquid Riches” and “A Humble Mountain Feast” are for UK & EU solely. “Christmas on The Seashore” is proscribed to SMWS members.
