Lux Row PX Sherry Cask End Bourbon

Bardstown, KY-based Lux Row Distillers has expanded its Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey lineup with Lux Row Small Batch PX Sherry Cask End.

The brand new launch is produced from small batches of four-year-old ryed straight Kentucky bourbon completed for six months in casks that held PX Sherry, a wealthy and candy wine produced from ripened, sun-dried grapes.

The PX Sherry cask end imparts aromas of dried figs and dates, the distillery experiences, plus flavors of grape syrup and candied fruit adopted by hints of spice, roasted espresso and darkish chocolate.

“We needed to meld the intensely candy flavors of PX Sherry with the spicy, peppery notes of our ryed bourbon,” says Lux Row Grasp Distiller John Rempe. “The result is a scrumptious mixture of two opposing but complementary flavors that ends in a very distinctive expression.”

Bottled at 112 proof (56% ABV), Lux Row Small Batch PX Sherry Cask End rolls out this October completely on the distillery for $59.99 per 750-ml. bottle. A nationwide launch of Lux Row Small Batch PX Sherry Cask End is deliberate for early 2025.
